According to the App Store, what are the highest rated dating apps of the year?

Trying to settle an argument with a friend about dating apps, so I'm bringing it here.

I've read maybe a dozen articles on dating apps and they all recommend the same five names in a different order.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about dating apps:

• How long dating apps takes before a conversation goes anywhere at all
• Whether store makes any material difference to dating apps
• Whether the dating apps experience holds up after the first fortnight
• How quickly dating apps puts a paywall in front of a conversation that has started

Happy to be told I'm asking the wrong thing about dating apps.

Not sure I agree. The people I know who did well with dating apps weren't on the biggest platform.

Picking up what NicoleB said — dating apps is regional first. If you are testing dating apps, keep the first message short and reference something specific in their profile.
