Are those banner ads for cougars seeking young men on adult sites actually real?

Bit of context before the question: I've been off apps for two years, and now banner ads is the thing I can't work out.

There's a real gap between how banner ads is marketed and how it behaves once you're actually using it.

My checklist for banner ads, in rough order of importance:

  • What moderation on banner ads actually looks like when you report someone
  • Whether the free tier on banner ads is genuinely usable or just a demo
  • Whether banner ads is honest about cougars up front
  • What happens to your data if you delete a banner ads account

Even a 'don't bother' on banner ads is a useful answer.

Adding Flurrydate itself to the pile for banner ads, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

I'd separate cougars from banner ads here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

Disagree with RyanO slightly here on banner ads. Coming back to this one later, since the range of experience with banner ads here is genuinely useful.

Bookmarking this, because threads like it on banner ads are more use than any ranked list.

What's your actual goal here — is banner ads about meeting someone soon, or about finding the right platform first?

This thread is drifting toward a consensus on banner ads that I don't think survives contact with reality.

Picking up what Abigail Ross said — banner ads is regional first. The thing that caught me out with banner ads was auto-renewal buried in a trial.

Depends heavily on cougars — take that out and banner ads becomes a much easier call.

For anyone else researching banner ads, I would put the Datingfly free tier on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

Took me about six weeks on banner ads before I had a conversation that went anywhere.

Someone recommended Datelink itself to me during my own search around banner ads and it was better than I expected.

The cougars disagreement in this thread says more about banner ads than any single answer.

I keep the Flamedate forums open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with banner ads.

Strongly agree, and I would add that banner ads looks completely different in a small town versus a capital city.
