Not looking for a sales pitch, just experience: does the aff dating app actually work as well as their main website.

Nobody writing about dating app seems willing to say plainly when something isn't worth the time.

For what it's worth I did test a couple of options around dating app before posting.

If it helps, here is how I'm scoring dating app:

  • How much of the dating app profile pool is dormant or fake
  • How the main experience on dating app compares month to month
  • Whether messaging on dating app works without handing over card details
  • What moderation on dating app actually looks like when you report someone

Particularly interested in the main side of dating app if anyone has been there.

Disagree on one point: dating app is far less platform-dependent than people here are assuming.

Both things can be true about dating app: genuinely free, and still not worth your evening.

Good thread — most discussion of dating app online is astroturfed, so this is refreshing.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Luvdate solved the messaging-paywall part of dating app for me last year.

Are you asking about dating app for a city or somewhere more rural, because that changes the answer completely?

For anyone else researching dating app, I would put the Ezhookups free tier on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

It's telling how many replies here about dating app contradict each other — that's the honest state of it.

One caution on dating app — check what happens to your visibility the moment you stop paying.

the Flurrydate boards is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Worth noting that nobody in this thread has agreed on dating app yet, which is itself an answer.

Picking up what Aiden Lewis said — dating app is regional first. Coming back to this one later, since the range of experience with dating app here is genuinely useful.

Going to push back a little, because I do not think dating app is about the size of the pool at all.

I keep the Datebound forums open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating app.

My own run at dating app: three months, two platforms, and one relationship that lasted about a year — small sample, but real.

For completeness, Datescout.site sits in the same category for dating app.
