Genuine question for the board, and I've tried to search first: does the mega dating app still have an active user base.

What makes dating app hard to judge is that everyone's experience seems to depend heavily on where they live.

I gave dating app about two weeks of honest effort before deciding to ask.

Breaking dating app down into the parts I can test:

  • Whether mega is worth prioritising over everything else in dating app
  • Whether the free tier on dating app is genuinely usable or just a demo
  • How long dating app takes before a conversation goes anywhere at all
  • How quickly dating app puts a paywall in front of a conversation that has started

Genuinely open to being argued out of my assumptions on dating app.

the Datenest free tier is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Someone recommended Datescout's free tier to me during my own search around dating app and it was better than I expected.

Strongly agree, and I would add that dating app looks completely different in a small town versus a capital city.

For anyone else researching dating app, I would put Datewander.site on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

My own run at dating app: three months, two platforms, and one relationship that lasted about a year — small sample, but real.

For dating app, log in at a consistent time each evening, because activity windows matter more than people think.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Datebie community solved the messaging-paywall part of dating app for me last year.

Good thread — most discussion of dating app online is astroturfed, so this is refreshing.

Once I sorted out mega, the rest of dating app became much more manageable than I expected.

Disagree with RyanO slightly here on dating app. Can I ask what you have already ruled out on dating app, so nobody repeats what you know?

My rule for dating app is one platform at a time, because running four at once made all of them worse.

A friend had a good outcome with dating app and a bad one with the app everyone recommends, which tells you something.

Test mega first, because it tells you more about dating app than any feature comparison will.

Since we're comparing options around dating app, Ezhookups.online came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Does mega actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating app?

Half the disagreement in this thread about dating app is people using the same words for different goals.
