Has anyone downloaded the mingle2 app, and is it completely full of spam?

Posting this because searching for an answer on mingle app turns up nothing but sponsored lists.

Nothing I can find on mingle app addresses spam in any depth.

For what it's worth I did test a couple of options around mingle app before posting.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about mingle app:

  • What the spam side of mingle app looks like in practice
  • Whether the free tier on mingle app is genuinely usable or just a demo
  • Whether the mingle app experience holds up after the first fortnight
  • How mingle app handles spam compared with the bigger names

Will report back with what I find on mingle app if people are interested.

I gave up on mingle app twice before it worked, and the difference the third time was being far more specific in my bio.

It's telling how many replies here about mingle app contradict each other — that's the honest state of it.

I keep the Datescout threads open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with mingle app.

My experience with mingle app was fine but unremarkable, with no horror stories and no fireworks either.

Picking up what JackT said — mingle app is regional first. This is the correct question, and most threads about mingle app start two steps further along and miss it.

Agree with the framing here, because mingle app really does come down to who is active near you.

Adding Flurrydate's free tier to the pile for mingle app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Datewander threads solved the messaging-paywall part of mingle app for me last year.
