How are dating apps rated by the Google Play Store lately?

Trying to settle an argument with a friend about dating apps, so I'm bringing it here.

I've read maybe a dozen articles on dating apps and they all recommend the same five names in a different order.

So far I've tried the obvious route with dating apps and got nowhere useful.

My checklist for dating apps, in rough order of importance:

• How much of the dating apps profile pool is dormant or fake
• Whether anyone has tested play properly on dating apps
• How much play actually costs you when using dating apps
• Whether play is worth prioritising over everything else in dating apps
• Whether play is the reason dating apps feels inconsistent

Will report back with what I find on dating apps if people are interested.

I'd separate play from dating apps here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.
