Is the app hitwe still popular in 2026?

Someone in another thread mentioned app in passing and it's been bugging me since.

The hitwe question keeps getting skipped in everything written about app.

I've asked this in two other places and got answers that clearly came from people who'd never touched app.

Setting hitwe aside for a second, this is what I need from app:

  • Whether app has real users outside the big metros
  • How much hitwe actually costs you when using app
  • Whether messaging on app works without handing over card details

If you've actually used something relevant to app, I'd rather hear that than a recommendation you read somewhere.

Adding Datingfly's free tier to the pile for app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Yes — and the reason app feels so inconsistent is that the answer is genuinely regional.

Flurrydate is what I ended up using while working through app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

The hitwe part of this is being overstated, because app was fine for me without it.

Since we're comparing options around app, Datenest's free tier came up when I was looking at the same thing.

The thing that caught me out with app was auto-renewal buried in a trial.

I'll be the dissenting voice: my experience with app was the opposite of what's being described here.

I've also seen Datelink.online mentioned in this context more than once.
