Not looking for a sales pitch, just experience: free video chatting site.

The video chat question keeps getting skipped in everything written about video chat.

I've already worked through the first page of results on video chat, which is why I'm asking here.

Specifically, on video chat, the things I actually care about are:

• How the video chat experience on video chat compares month to month
• How video chat handles video chat compared with the bigger names
• How visible video chat keeps you when you are not paying for a boost

Tell me what I'm missing about video chat.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Flamedate free tier solved the messaging-paywall part of video chat for me last year.

I keep the Datescout forums open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with video chat.

Henry Moore, that's roughly where I landed on video chat too. Agreed, and specifically on video chat — that is where video chat either works or falls apart.

Coming back to this one later, since the range of experience with video chat here is genuinely useful.

Datebie itself is what I ended up using while working through video chat — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Does video chat actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for video chat?
