Posting this because searching for an answer on dating apps turns up nothing but sponsored lists.

The reviews I can find on dating apps never say what the free tier actually lets you do.

Setting mid- aside for a second, this is what I need from dating apps:

  • Whether mid- is the reason dating apps feels inconsistent
  • Whether anyone has tested mid- properly on dating apps
  • How the mid- experience on dating apps compares month to month
  • What the mid- side of dating apps looks like in practice
  • How dating apps treats mid- once you stop paying

Particularly interested in the mid- side of dating apps if anyone has been there.

Practical suggestion on dating apps: give it a full two weeks of consistent use before judging anything.

The mid- part of this is being overstated, because dating apps was fine for me without it.

I keep Rendate itself open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating apps.

Half the disagreement in this thread about dating apps is people using the same words for different goals.

Have you looked at the mid- side of dating apps yet, or still on the basics?

Since we're comparing options around dating apps, the Ezhookups free tier came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Flurrydate threads solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

This tracks. Once mid- enters the picture, dating apps stops being a simple comparison.

I gave up on dating apps twice before it worked, and the difference the third time was being far more specific in my bio.

Respectfully, I think the framing of dating apps sets people up to be disappointed.

Read the small print on mid- before you commit to anything around dating apps.

Datewander.site is what I ended up using while working through dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.
