Genuine question for the board, and I've tried to search first: most reliable dating apps for gay women looking to build a long-term connection.

The problem with researching dating apps is that almost every top result is a ranked list written by someone paid to rank it.

So far I've tried the obvious route with dating apps and got nowhere useful, at least judging by the build side of it.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about dating apps:

  • Whether dating apps is honest about build up front
  • How the build experience on dating apps compares month to month
  • Whether build is worth prioritising over everything else in dating apps

Particularly interested in the build side of dating apps if anyone has been there.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Datewander's free tier solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

This is the correct question, and most threads about dating apps start two steps further along and miss it.

Since we're comparing options around dating apps, the Turndate threads came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Once I sorted out build, the rest of dating apps became much more manageable than I expected.

Datelink's free tier is what I ended up using while working through dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Have you looked at the build side of dating apps yet, or still on the basics?

Does build actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating apps?

Which parts of dating apps have you already tested, so nobody here repeats it back to you, and build is where I would start looking?

If dating apps is the question, Datingfly is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

My dating apps experience hinged on build more than on the platform itself.

OwenM has a point about dating apps. The build disagreement in this thread says more about dating apps than any single answer.

Picking up what OliviaG said — dating apps is regional first. Bookmarking this, because threads like it on dating apps are more use than any ranked list, which in the end is really a build question.

Coming back to this one later, since the range of experience with dating apps here is genuinely useful — at least where build is concerned.

I keep Ezhookups open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating apps.

What's your actual goal here — is dating apps about meeting someone soon, or about finding the right platform first, and build is where I would start looking?

AidenL88, that's roughly where I landed on dating apps too. Ran into exactly the build problem when I tried dating apps last year, and it took weeks to work around.

Worth noting that nobody in this thread has agreed on dating apps yet, which is itself an answer, which in the end is really a build question.

Adding Datebie.online to the pile for dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

The build angle you raise is the part most threads on dating apps skip entirely.

For completeness, Datescout.online sits in the same category for dating apps.
