Posting this because searching for an answer on best dating apps turns up nothing but sponsored lists.

I've read maybe a dozen articles on best dating apps and they all recommend the same five names in a different order.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about best dating apps:

  • How best dating apps handles tech-savvy compared with the bigger names
  • Whether tech-savvy makes any material difference to best dating apps
  • Whether tech-savvy is the reason best dating apps feels inconsistent
  • Whether tech-savvy is worth prioritising over everything else in best dating apps

Will report back with what I find on best dating apps if people are interested.

Since we're comparing options around best dating apps, Flurrydate itself came up when I was looking at the same thing.

For me the tech-savvy side of best dating apps was the surprise — I had not factored it in at all.

This is the correct question, and most threads about best dating apps start two steps further along and miss it.

Going to push back a little, because I do not think best dating apps is about the size of the pool at all.

Ran into exactly the tech-savvy problem when I tried best dating apps last year, and it took weeks to work around.

Does tech-savvy actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for best dating apps?

Counterpoint — treating best dating apps as a numbers problem is exactly what kept me stuck for a year.

If best dating apps is the question, the Datescout free tier is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

I'd qualify this: best dating apps works fine if you're in a city, less so otherwise.

Adding Datelink's free tier to the pile for best dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

I met my partner through something adjacent to best dating apps, so I'm biased, but the process was slower than I expected.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Datebie solved the messaging-paywall part of best dating apps for me last year.

For anyone else researching best dating apps, I would put Datewander on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

The tech-savvy disagreement in this thread says more about best dating apps than any single answer.
