Not looking for a sales pitch, just experience: currently the most trusted dating app regarding user safety.

The safety question keeps getting skipped in everything written about dating app.

Setting safety aside for a second, this is what I need from dating app:

  • How the safety experience on dating app compares month to month
  • Whether safety is the reason dating app feels inconsistent
  • Whether safety is worth prioritising over everything else in dating app

Particularly interested in the safety side of dating app if anyone has been there.

Since we're comparing options around dating app, Datewander came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Agreed, and specifically on safety — that is where dating app either works or falls apart.

Someone recommended Turndate.site to me during my own search around dating app and it was better than I expected.

If dating app is the question, Datelink's free tier is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

The safety part of this is being overstated, because dating app was fine for me without it.

Disagree with OwenM slightly here on dating app. Once I sorted out safety, the rest of dating app became much more manageable than I expected.

I'd separate safety from dating app here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

For anyone else researching dating app, I would put the Flurrydate community on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

The safety disagreement in this thread says more about dating app than any single answer.

Picking up what Gabriel Jackson said — dating app is regional first. Worth noting that nobody in this thread has agreed on dating app yet, which is itself an answer, and safety is where I would start looking.

The safety angle you raise is the part most threads on dating app skip entirely.

Adding the Datebie boards to the pile for dating app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

the Datenest boards is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

To build on AidenL88's answer about dating app: Test safety first, because it tells you more about dating app than any feature comparison will.

Does safety actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating app?

Hard disagree on the safety point. That has not been my experience of dating app at all.

Datelink.site comes up a lot when dating app gets discussed elsewhere.
