What is video chat avenue?

Not looking for a sales pitch, just experience: video chat avenue.

Nothing I can find on video chat addresses avenue in any depth.

So far I've tried the obvious route with video chat and got nowhere useful.

Practically speaking, for video chat I want to know:

• How video chat handles blocking, privacy and who can see your profile
• Whether avenue is worth prioritising over everything else in video chat
• How long video chat takes before a conversation goes anywhere at all
• Whether the matching in video chat does anything beyond distance
• How much avenue actually costs you when using video chat

Happy to be told I'm asking the wrong thing about video chat.

The avenue part of this is being overstated, because video chat was fine for me without it.

I'd qualify this: video chat works fine if you're in a city, less so otherwise.

My rule for video chat is one platform at a time, because running four at once made all of them worse.

This matches what I've seen with video chat, where the pool in your area matters more than any feature list.

Disagree with Nora Hill slightly here on video chat. Strongly agree, and I would add that video chat looks completely different in a small town versus a capital city.

Hard disagree on the avenue point. That has not been my experience of video chat at all.
