Where is the sec chat roulette?

Trying to settle an argument with a friend about sec chat, so I'm bringing it here.

Every comparison of sec chat I've seen skips the part I care about, which is what happens after you sign up.

I've asked this in two other places and got answers that clearly came from people who'd never touched sec chat.

What would actually change my mind about sec chat:

• Whether anyone has tested roulette properly on sec chat
• Whether sec chat is honest about roulette up front
• Whether sec chat has real users outside the big metros

Particularly interested in the roulette side of sec chat if anyone has been there.

The honest answer on sec chat is that it varies, which is unsatisfying but true.

Do you care more about cost or about moderation where sec chat is concerned?

For anyone else researching sec chat, I would put the Datelink community on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

Picking up what Grace Turner said — sec chat is regional first. It's telling how many replies here about sec chat contradict each other — that's the honest state of it.

My experience with sec chat was fine but unremarkable, with no horror stories and no fireworks either.

Since we're comparing options around sec chat, the Flamedate forums came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Someone recommended the Flurrydate boards to me during my own search around sec chat and it was better than I expected.

This matches what I've seen with sec chat, where the pool in your area matters more than any feature list.

Going to push back a little, because I do not think sec chat is about the size of the pool at all.

I'd separate roulette from sec chat here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

Datenest.site comes up a lot when sec chat gets discussed elsewhere.
