Are there any dating apps for rich people that actually verify income?

Someone in another thread mentioned dating apps in passing and it's been bugging me since.

The frustrating part about dating apps is that the honest answers are buried in comment sections, not articles.

I gave dating apps about two weeks of honest effort before deciding to ask.

Breaking dating apps down into the parts I can test:

  • Whether income is the reason dating apps feels inconsistent
  • How quickly dating apps puts a paywall in front of a conversation that has started
  • Whether the matching in dating apps does anything beyond distance
  • Whether income makes any material difference to dating apps

Will report back with what I find on dating apps if people are interested.

I keep Flurrydate open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating apps.

Someone recommended Datebound.site to me during my own search around dating apps and it was better than I expected.

Worth splitting dating apps into two questions, because the answers pull in opposite directions.

Depends heavily on income — take that out and dating apps becomes a much easier call.

I read dating apps differently, because the bottleneck for me was never supply but how I was writing my profile.

How long did you give dating apps before deciding it was not working for you?

If dating apps is the question, Datewander is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

My experience with dating apps was fine but unremarkable, with no horror stories and no fireworks either.

ElijahS, that's roughly where I landed on dating apps too. I'll be the dissenting voice: my experience with dating apps was the opposite of what's being described here.

The income element is where people get stung with dating apps, so check it before anything else.

Datebound.site comes up a lot when dating apps gets discussed elsewhere.
