Are there any dating apps that work for people who are totally exhausted by dating?

Been circling this one for a while and I want input from people who actually use these platforms: dating apps that work for people who are totally exhausted by dating.

Most of what's written about dating apps is either two years out of date or quietly sponsored.

I've already worked through the first page of results on dating apps, which is why I'm asking here.

Breaking dating apps down into the parts I can test:

  • How dating apps treats totally once you stop paying
  • How dating apps handles totally compared with the bigger names
  • Whether totally makes any material difference to dating apps

Genuinely open to being argued out of my assumptions on dating apps.

Since we're comparing options around dating apps, Datedesire's free tier came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Datelink.online is what I ended up using while working through dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Flamedate forums solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

Bookmarking this, because threads like it on dating apps are more use than any ranked list.

CassandraP has a point about dating apps. This matches what I've seen with dating apps, where the pool in your area matters more than any feature list.

Adding the Luvdate free tier to the pile for dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

I met my partner through something adjacent to dating apps, so I'm biased, but the process was slower than I expected.

Picking up what JessicaW said — dating apps is regional first. Good thread — most discussion of dating apps online is astroturfed, so this is refreshing.

Hard disagree on the totally point. That has not been my experience of dating apps at all.

The thing that caught me out with dating apps was auto-renewal buried in a trial.

Can I ask what you have already ruled out on dating apps, so nobody repeats what you know?

Does totally actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating apps?
