My checklist for dating sites, in rough order of importance:

• Whether requirements makes any material difference to dating sites
• Whether messaging on dating sites works without handing over card details
• Whether the free tier on dating sites is genuinely usable or just a demo
• How the requirements experience on dating sites compares month to month

Agreed, and specifically on requirements — that is where dating sites either works or falls apart.

Not sure I agree. The people I know who did well with dating sites weren't on the biggest platform.
