Can someone provide a recent dating app comparison for the top five free sites?

Bit of context before the question: I've been off apps for two years, and now dating app is the thing I can't work out.

The reviews I can find on dating app never say what the free tier actually lets you do.

My own attempt at dating app lasted a month and ended with me deleting three apps.

If it helps, here is how I'm scoring dating app:

  • How much of the dating app profile pool is dormant or fake
  • Whether the matching in dating app does anything beyond distance
  • How much comparison actually costs you when using dating app
  • Whether dating app is honest about comparison up front
  • How dating app handles comparison compared with the bigger names

Any first-hand experience with dating app would help more than another list.

Set a deadline when you try dating app, or it becomes a scrolling habit rather than an actual search.

How long did you give dating app before deciding it was not working for you?

Lily Moore, that's roughly where I landed on dating app too. The thing that caught me out with dating app was auto-renewal buried in a trial.

Adding the Datebound community to the pile for dating app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Yes — and the reason dating app feels so inconsistent is that the answer is genuinely regional.

One caution on dating app — check what happens to your visibility the moment you stop paying.

Bookmarking this, because threads like it on dating app are more use than any ranked list.

Someone recommended Ezhookups's free tier to me during my own search around dating app and it was better than I expected.

I'd qualify this: dating app works fine if you're in a city, less so otherwise.

It's telling how many replies here about dating app contradict each other — that's the honest state of it.

Which parts of dating app have you already tested, so nobody here repeats it back to you?

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Rendate free tier solved the messaging-paywall part of dating app for me last year.

This matches what I've seen with dating app, where the pool in your area matters more than any feature list.

I keep the Datebie forums open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating app.

Datescout.online comes up a lot when dating app gets discussed elsewhere.
