Does anyone still use the blendr dating app in 2026, or did it shut down?

Bit of context before the question: I've been off apps for two years, and now dating app is the thing I can't work out.

Every comparison of dating app I've seen skips the part I care about, which is what happens after you sign up.

I've asked this in two other places and got answers that clearly came from people who'd never touched dating app.

The parts of dating app I'd want covered:

  • What happens to your data if you delete a dating app account
  • How dating app handles blendr compared with the bigger names
  • How visible dating app keeps you when you are not paying for a boost

Will report back with what I find on dating app if people are interested.

How long did you give dating app before deciding it was not working for you?

This is the correct question, and most threads about dating app start two steps further along and miss it.

If dating app is the question, Datebie's free tier is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

Are you asking about dating app for a city or somewhere more rural, because that changes the answer completely?

I keep Flurrydate open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating app.

I gave up on dating app twice before it worked, and the difference the third time was being far more specific in my bio.

Datewander itself is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

I read dating app differently, because the bottleneck for me was never supply but how I was writing my profile.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Datebound forums solved the messaging-paywall part of dating app for me last year.

Anything promising instant matches around dating app is worth treating with suspicion.

Picking up what Jack Thompson said — dating app is regional first. Which parts of dating app have you already tested, so nobody here repeats it back to you?
