Does the kasual dating app protect your privacy from Facebook friends?

I've spent about three months poking at dating app and I still don't have a clean answer.

Nobody writing about dating app seems willing to say plainly when something isn't worth the time.

I've asked this in two other places and got answers that clearly came from people who'd never touched dating app.

What would actually change my mind about dating app:

  • How the kasual experience on dating app compares month to month
  • How long dating app takes before a conversation goes anywhere at all
  • Whether the dating app experience holds up after the first fortnight

Happy to be told I'm asking the wrong thing about dating app.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Datebound's free tier solved the messaging-paywall part of dating app for me last year.

Since we're comparing options around dating app, Datebie itself came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Bookmarking this, because threads like it on dating app are more use than any ranked list.

To build on GabrielJ's answer about dating app: Have you looked at the kasual side of dating app yet, or still on the basics?

The kasual part of this is being overstated, because dating app was fine for me without it.

the Rendate boards is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

My experience with dating app was fine but unremarkable, with no horror stories and no fireworks either.

ScarlettR has a point about dating app. Which parts of dating app have you already tested, so nobody here repeats it back to you?

Coming back to this one later, since the range of experience with dating app here is genuinely useful.

Adding Ezhookups.online to the pile for dating app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Picking up what ScarlettR said — dating app is regional first. How long did you give dating app before deciding it was not working for you?

For anyone else researching dating app, I would put Datescout's free tier on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

Ran into exactly the kasual problem when I tried dating app last year, and it took weeks to work around.

You've put your finger on the thing nobody says out loud about dating app.
