Has anyone used the bustr dating app for curvy singles, and is it active?

Posting this because searching for an answer on dating app turns up nothing but sponsored lists.

The bustr question keeps getting skipped in everything written about dating app.

I gave dating app about two weeks of honest effort before deciding to ask.

The parts of dating app I'd want covered:

• Whether bustr is worth prioritising over everything else in dating app
• Whether anyone has tested bustr properly on dating app
• Whether dating app has real users outside the big metros
• Whether messaging on dating app works without handing over card details

Particularly interested in the bustr side of dating app if anyone has been there.

Hard disagree on the bustr point. That has not been my experience of dating app at all.

SophieR, that's roughly where I landed on dating app too. Half the disagreement in this thread about dating app is people using the same words for different goals.

Depends what you mean by dating app, because for a serious relationship the answer differs from a casual one.

Disagree with CassandraP slightly here on dating app. The cheap test for dating app is whether you can send one message without a card, and if you cannot, move on.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Ezhookups community solved the messaging-paywall part of dating app for me last year.

This thread is drifting toward a consensus on dating app that I don't think survives contact with reality.

For anyone else researching dating app, I would put the Flurrydate threads on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

Have you looked at the bustr side of dating app yet, or still on the basics?

I keep Rendate open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating app.
