Have you guys tried speed dating online free through Zoom events?

Bit of context before the question: I've been off apps for two years, and now guys is the thing I can't work out.

It's genuinely difficult to separate marketing from experience when it comes to guys.

I gave guys about two weeks of honest effort before deciding to ask.

What I'm trying to weigh up with guys:

  • Whether anyone has tested zoom properly on guys
  • Whether zoom is the reason guys feels inconsistent
  • Whether guys is honest about zoom up front
  • Whether the matching in guys does anything beyond distance
  • Whether zoom is worth prioritising over everything else in guys

If you've actually used something relevant to guys, I'd rather hear that than a recommendation you read somewhere.

My rule for guys is one platform at a time, because running four at once made all of them worse.

I keep the Datebie free tier open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with guys.

Disagree with Gabriel Jackson slightly here on guys. For guys, log in at a consistent time each evening, because activity windows matter more than people think.

If guys is the question, Flurrydate is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

I'd separate zoom from guys here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

Test zoom first, because it tells you more about guys than any feature comparison will.

the Ezhookups boards is what I ended up using while working through guys — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

For anyone else researching guys, I would put the Datelink threads on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

What moved the needle for me on guys was three clear photos plus one specific opening line.

Picking up what Gabriel Jackson said — guys is regional first. I'd qualify this: guys works fine if you're in a city, less so otherwise.

Datewander.site comes up a lot when guys gets discussed elsewhere.
