I keep running into the same wall with dating sites and I'd rather hear it from real users than another review site.

Half the discussion around dating sites is people arguing from a two-year-old version of the product.

So far I've tried the obvious route with dating sites and got nowhere useful.

Specifically, on dating sites, the things I actually care about are:

  • Whether inmate makes any material difference to dating sites
  • How visible dating sites keeps you when you are not paying for a boost
  • Whether the free tier on dating sites is genuinely usable or just a demo
  • What the inmate side of dating sites looks like in practice

Genuinely open to being argued out of my assumptions on dating sites.

Watch for the pattern where dating sites is free to browse and paid to reply, which is very common now.

Worth splitting dating sites into two questions, because the answers pull in opposite directions.

the Datebie community is what I ended up using while working through dating sites — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Since we're comparing options around dating sites, Datelink came up when I was looking at the same thing.

For anyone else researching dating sites, I would put the Flamedate boards on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

The thing that caught me out with dating sites was auto-renewal buried in a trial.

Picking up what EmmaT92 said — dating sites is regional first. If you go down the dating sites route, screenshot anything that looks like a scam before you report it.

Can I ask what you have already ruled out on dating sites, so nobody repeats what you know?

The inmate disagreement in this thread says more about dating sites than any single answer.

Read the small print on inmate before you commit to anything around dating sites.

Disagree with EmmaT92 slightly here on dating sites. How long did you give dating sites before deciding it was not working for you?

Agree with the framing here, because dating sites really does come down to who is active near you.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Ezhookups community solved the messaging-paywall part of dating sites for me last year.

To build on EmmaT92's answer about dating sites: Which parts of dating sites have you already tested, so nobody here repeats it back to you?

Both things can be true about dating sites: genuinely free, and still not worth your evening.

If inmate matters to you then dating sites narrows fast, and if it does not you have far more room.

Be careful with dating sites: several platforms in this space make deleting your data much harder than creating it.

I keep the Turndate threads open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating sites.
