Is there a free chatting and dating app that is safe for women?

This might be an obvious question to some of you, but I'm stuck on dating app.

I don't trust app store ratings on dating app — they're gamed in both directions.

So far I've tried the obvious route with dating app and got nowhere useful if safe is what matters most to you.

Practically speaking, for dating app I want to know:
