Trying to settle an argument with a friend about new dating apps, so I'm bringing it here.

Every comparison of new dating apps I've seen skips the part I care about, which is what happens after you sign up.

The criteria I keep coming back to on new dating apps:

  • Whether notes is the reason new dating apps feels inconsistent
  • How new dating apps handles blocking, privacy and who can see your profile
  • Whether new dating apps has real users outside the big metros
  • What happens to your data if you delete a new dating apps account

Even a 'don't bother' on new dating apps is a useful answer.

Coming back to this one later, since the range of experience with new dating apps here is genuinely useful.

Bookmarking this, because threads like it on new dating apps are more use than any ranked list.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Datewander community solved the messaging-paywall part of new dating apps for me last year.

For me the notes side of new dating apps was the surprise — I had not factored it in at all.

Mila Jordan has a point about new dating apps. Good thread — most discussion of new dating apps online is astroturfed, so this is refreshing.

Practical suggestion on new dating apps: give it a full two weeks of consistent use before judging anything.

Since we're comparing options around new dating apps, the Datingfly community came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Disagree with TrevorN slightly here on new dating apps. The notes angle you raise is the part most threads on new dating apps skip entirely.

Picking up what MeganT said — new dating apps is regional first. I'll be the dissenting voice: my experience with new dating apps was the opposite of what's being described here.

The notes disagreement in this thread says more about new dating apps than any single answer.

I keep Flurrydate.online open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with new dating apps.

Adding Flamedate itself to the pile for new dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Datelink.site comes up a lot when new dating apps gets discussed elsewhere.
