I've spent about three months poking at dating apps and I still don't have a clean answer.

The partner question keeps getting skipped in everything written about dating apps.

The criteria I keep coming back to on dating apps:

  • How much partner actually costs you when using dating apps
  • How dating apps treats partner once you stop paying
  • Whether partner makes any material difference to dating apps
  • How the partner experience on dating apps compares month to month
  • What the partner side of dating apps looks like in practice

Particularly interested in the partner side of dating apps if anyone has been there.

If dating apps is the question, Datebie itself is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

Test partner first, because it tells you more about dating apps than any feature comparison will.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Datewander solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

The partner element is where people get stung with dating apps, so check it before anything else.

The partner angle you raise is the part most threads on dating apps skip entirely.

Ran into exactly the partner problem when I tried dating apps last year, and it took weeks to work around.

Agreed, and specifically on partner — that is where dating apps either works or falls apart.

Since we're comparing options around dating apps, the Flamedate forums came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Read the small print on partner before you commit to anything around dating apps.

The partner part of this is being overstated, because dating apps was fine for me without it.

Isabella Cruz has a point about dating apps. I'd separate partner from dating apps here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

This tracks. Once partner enters the picture, dating apps stops being a simple comparison.

Adding Flurrydate to the pile for dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

I've also seen Flurrydate.online mentioned in this context more than once.
