Trying to settle an argument with a friend about paid dating apps, so I'm bringing it here.

The reviews I can find on paid dating apps never say what the free tier actually lets you do.

I've asked this in two other places and got answers that clearly came from people who'd never touched paid dating apps.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about paid dating apps:

  • How much of the paid dating apps profile pool is dormant or fake
  • How quickly paid dating apps puts a paywall in front of a conversation that has started
  • Whether messaging on paid dating apps works without handing over card details

Will report back with what I find on paid dating apps if people are interested.

If paid dating apps matters to you then paid dating apps narrows fast, and if it does not you have far more room.

My rule for paid dating apps is one platform at a time, because running four at once made all of them worse.

One caution on paid dating apps — check what happens to your visibility the moment you stop paying.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Ezhookups.online solved the messaging-paywall part of paid dating apps for me last year.

Can I ask what you have already ruled out on paid dating apps, so nobody repeats what you know?

Just flagging that some results you will find for paid dating apps are review farms rather than reviews.

To build on EthanP's answer about paid dating apps: Same read from me. Everything I've learned about paid dating apps points back to local density.

the Turndate free tier is what I ended up using while working through paid dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Since we're comparing options around paid dating apps, Datebie.online came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Yes — and the reason paid dating apps feels so inconsistent is that the answer is genuinely regional.
