What is the most reputable friendship and dating site?

This might be an obvious question to some of you, but I'm stuck on dating site.

There's a real gap between how dating site is marketed and how it behaves once you're actually using it.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about dating site:

• Whether anyone has tested friendship properly on dating site
• What the friendship side of dating site looks like in practice
• How dating site handles friendship compared with the bigger names
• How much friendship actually costs you when using dating site

Even a 'don't bother' on dating site is a useful answer.
