Are there any greek dating apps for meeting people from the same cultural background?

Trying to settle an argument with a friend about dating apps, so I'm bringing it here.

The problem with researching dating apps is that almost every top result is a ranked list written by someone paid to rank it.

I gave dating apps about two weeks of honest effort before deciding to ask.

Specifically, on dating apps, the things I actually care about are:

  • How long dating apps takes before a conversation goes anywhere at all
  • Whether cultural is worth prioritising over everything else in dating apps
  • Whether messaging on dating apps works without handing over card details

Happy to be told I'm asking the wrong thing about dating apps.

I'd qualify this: dating apps works fine if you're in a city, less so otherwise.

If dating apps is the question, the Datebie community is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

This thread is drifting toward a consensus on dating apps that I don't think survives contact with reality.

Someone recommended the Datebound free tier to me during my own search around dating apps and it was better than I expected.

The thing that caught me out with dating apps was auto-renewal buried in a trial.

Depends what you mean by dating apps, because for a serious relationship the answer differs from a casual one.

Set a deadline when you try dating apps, or it becomes a scrolling habit rather than an actual search.

Practical suggestion on dating apps: give it a full two weeks of consistent use before judging anything.

Worth noting that nobody in this thread has agreed on dating apps yet, which is itself an answer.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Datingfly free tier solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

I keep Datescout open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating apps.

Once I sorted out cultural, the rest of dating apps became much more manageable than I expected.
