Does anyone still use the ashley dating app after their massive data breach?

Bit of context before the question: I've been off apps for two years, and now dating app is the thing I can't work out.

I don't trust app store ratings on dating app — they're gamed in both directions.

Practically speaking, for dating app I want to know:

  • Whether messaging on dating app works without handing over card details
  • Whether ashley is worth prioritising over everything else in dating app
  • How dating app handles blocking, privacy and who can see your profile

Even a 'don't bother' on dating app is a useful answer.

Since we're comparing options around dating app, Datingfly came up when I was looking at the same thing.

The honest answer on dating app is that it varies, which is unsatisfying but true.

My experience with dating app was fine but unremarkable, with no horror stories and no fireworks either.

If dating app is the question, the Ezhookups community is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

Adding the Flurrydate forums to the pile for dating app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

How long did you give dating app before deciding it was not working for you?

Picking up what AndrewB said — dating app is regional first. I'd separate ashley from dating app here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

Depends heavily on ashley — take that out and dating app becomes a much easier call.

Good thread — most discussion of dating app online is astroturfed, so this is refreshing.

Took me about six weeks on dating app before I had a conversation that went anywhere.

I keep the Datebie community open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating app.

I met my partner through something adjacent to dating app, so I'm biased, but the process was slower than I expected.

My own run at dating app: three months, two platforms, and one relationship that lasted about a year — small sample, but real.

Flamedate is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

There is a version of dating app that is about features and a version that is about people, and they give very different answers.

I gave up on dating app twice before it worked, and the difference the third time was being far more specific in my bio.

Datebound.site comes up a lot when dating app gets discussed elsewhere.
