Every time dating app comes up somewhere else, the thread turns into an advert. Hoping this one doesn't.

What makes dating app hard to judge is that everyone's experience seems to depend heavily on where they live.

What I'm trying to weigh up with dating app:

  • What the abroad side of dating app looks like in practice
  • Whether abroad makes any material difference to dating app
  • Whether abroad is the reason dating app feels inconsistent
  • Whether dating app has real users outside the big metros

Even a 'don't bother' on dating app is a useful answer.

Adding Ezhookups's free tier to the pile for dating app, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Owen Martinez has a point about dating app. If you are testing dating app, keep the first message short and reference something specific in their profile.

Anything promising instant matches around dating app is worth treating with suspicion.

Rendate is what I ended up using while working through dating app — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

For anyone else researching dating app, I would put Datebie itself on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

Does abroad actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating app?

Disagree on one point: dating app is far less platform-dependent than people here are assuming.

How long did you give dating app before deciding it was not working for you?
