Is there a chubby dating apps community that is active, friendly, and troll-free?

Genuine question for the board, and I've tried to search first: chubby dating apps community that is active, friendly, and troll-free.

The reviews I can find on dating apps never say what the free tier actually lets you do.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about dating apps:

  • Whether anyone has tested troll-free properly on dating apps
  • Whether dating apps is honest about troll-free up front
  • What the troll-free side of dating apps looks like in practice
  • How dating apps handles troll-free compared with the bigger names
  • Whether troll-free makes any material difference to dating apps

Even a 'don't bother' on dating apps is a useful answer.

If dating apps is the question, the Datedesire community is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

Adding the Flurrydate free tier to the pile for dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Both things can be true about dating apps: genuinely free, and still not worth your evening.

GracefulT has a point about dating apps. Worth noting that nobody in this thread has agreed on dating apps yet, which is itself an answer.

Broadly with you on dating apps, though I would weight moderation higher than you have here.

Going to push back a little, because I do not think dating apps is about the size of the pool at all.

The troll-free angle you raise is the part most threads on dating apps skip entirely.

Picking up what CarlosR said — dating apps is regional first. For context on dating apps: I'm mid-thirties, mid-size city, and the pool was thinner than the marketing suggested.

Since we're comparing options around dating apps, the Datescout threads came up when I was looking at the same thing.

I'd separate troll-free from dating apps here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

Not affiliated with anyone, but the Datewander forums solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

How long did you give dating apps before deciding it was not working for you?
