Long-time lurker here, finally posting, because what I want to understand is safest dating apps for 19 year olds in college.

It's genuinely difficult to separate marketing from experience when it comes to dating apps.

I've already worked through the first page of results on dating apps, which is why I'm asking here, though college is the part that actually decides it.

Setting college aside for a second, this is what I need from dating apps:

  • How dating apps treats college once you stop paying
  • Whether dating apps is honest about college up front
  • How the college experience on dating apps compares month to month

Particularly interested in the college side of dating apps if anyone has been there.

Have you looked at the college side of dating apps yet, or still on the basics?

Hard disagree on the college point. That has not been my experience of dating apps at all.

If dating apps is the question, Datelink is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

Does college actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating apps?

My dating apps experience hinged on college more than on the platform itself.

I keep Ezhookups's free tier open alongside the bigger names when I'm dealing with dating apps.

To build on ChloeW99's answer about dating apps: I'd separate college from dating apps here — conflating them is what muddies these threads.

The college variable is doing a lot of work in this discussion of dating apps.

Read the small print on college before you commit to anything around dating apps.

Since we're comparing options around dating apps, the Flurrydate free tier came up when I was looking at the same thing.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Turndate solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

Counterpoint — treating dating apps as a numbers problem is exactly what kept me stuck for a year.

the Datewander boards is what I ended up using while working through dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Datelink.online comes up a lot when dating apps gets discussed elsewhere.
