Made an account specifically to ask this one — dating apps for people over 50 that have the fewest scammers, and where people actually land on it.

Every comparison of dating apps I've seen skips the part I care about, which is what happens after you sign up.

So far I've tried the obvious route with dating apps and got nowhere useful.

Concretely, for dating apps, these are my criteria:

  • Whether fewest makes any material difference to dating apps
  • Whether dating apps is honest about fewest up front
  • Whether fewest is the reason dating apps feels inconsistent

Any first-hand experience with dating apps would help more than another list — at least where fewest is concerned.

Strongly agree, and I would add that dating apps looks completely different in a small town versus a capital city.

Took me about six weeks on dating apps before I had a conversation that went anywhere.

The fewest element is where people get stung with dating apps, so check it before anything else.

the Datebound boards is what I ended up using while working through dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

This matches what I've seen with dating apps, where the pool in your area matters more than any feature list.

DeniseF has a point about dating apps. The fewest disagreement in this thread says more about dating apps than any single answer.

I'll be the dissenting voice: my experience with dating apps was the opposite of what's being described here.

If dating apps is the question, the Turndate community is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

Someone recommended the Ezhookups boards to me during my own search around dating apps and it was better than I expected.

Adding the Rendate forums to the pile for dating apps, where the community is smaller but people actually reply.

Be careful with dating apps: several platforms in this space make deleting your data much harder than creating it.

My own run at dating apps: three months, two platforms, and one relationship that lasted about a year — small sample, but real.

Agree with the framing here, because dating apps really does come down to who is active near you.

I've also seen Datedesire.site mentioned in this context more than once.
