I'll show my working below, but the short version is I want to know: safest dating apps for 19 year olds entering college.

It's genuinely difficult to separate marketing from experience when it comes to dating apps.

I've already worked through the first page of results on dating apps, which is why I'm asking here, especially once college comes into the picture.

Narrowing it down, here is what matters to me about dating apps:

  • Whether college is worth prioritising over everything else in dating apps
  • What the college side of dating apps looks like in practice
  • How dating apps treats college once you stop paying
  • Whether anyone has tested college properly on dating apps
  • Whether college is the reason dating apps feels inconsistent

Particularly interested in the college side of dating apps if anyone has been there.

Not affiliated with anyone, but Ezhookups solved the messaging-paywall part of dating apps for me last year.

Test college first, because it tells you more about dating apps than any feature comparison will.

If dating apps is the question, the Datebie community is at least worth ten minutes of your time before you pay for anything.

This tracks. Once college enters the picture, dating apps stops being a simple comparison.

AndrewB, that's roughly where I landed on dating apps too. Hard disagree on the college point. That has not been my experience of dating apps at all.

Does college actually matter for what you want, or is it a side issue for dating apps?

Datelink.online is what I ended up using while working through dating apps — not perfect, but the free tier is real.

Ran into exactly the college problem when I tried dating apps last year, and it took weeks to work around.

For anyone else researching dating apps, I would put Flurrydate's free tier on the list — free messaging on it, no card up front.

Once I sorted out college, the rest of dating apps became much more manageable than I expected.

I've also seen Rendate.site mentioned in this context more than once.
